In addition to the traditional layered stone in its various colours, we enable you to choose from one of the gemstones we have selected. As gemmologists we have the expertise to select the most beautiful gemstones for your signet ring. Below is a brief overview of some of the gemstone varieties we offer.

• Layered stone/agate: in many colour varieties: a quartz variety consisting of two layers, usually a dark lower layer and a lighter upper layer. When engraved, this creates the beautiful effect of two different colours displaying the family coat of arms in harmony.
• Tourmaline: from dark green to green blue, from lilac to pink, translucent to transparent, a gemstone we use frequently, precious, yet very fine thanks to its beautiful colours and durability.
• Chalcedony: light blue, blue grey, quartz variety
• Carnelian: brownish red translucent, quartz variety
• Heliotrope: dark green with red dots, quartz variety
• Onyx: intense black, quartz variety
• Hematite: grey black with a metallic iron lustre, a mineral consisting of oxide crystals
• Lapis Lazuli: intense azure blue, with or without specks of pyrite (gold coloured), rock
• Amethyst: purple, translucent to transparent, quartz
• Citrine: deep orange brown, translucent to transparent, quartz
• Garnet, Almandine: dark red, reddish brown, translucent, transparent
• Peridot: olive green, translucent to transparent
• Tanzanite: blue, azure blue, blue green, transparent, zoisite variety
• Sapphire: blue to dark blue (cornflower blue), translucent to transparent, corundum
